SOON is my first published collection of poetry. It explores the relationship between time and humanity, endeavors to flesh out time as a personified being, acknowledges the inevitability of loss to the swallowing of time, and deals heavily with how time thickly weaves together memory with grief.
My hope for this book is to reach people grappling with loss and struggle, and provide a place in these difficult seasons for vulnerability and acceptance. To be accompanied and strengthened by a book that holds the bitter sting of pain, next to the pearls of joy and love that remain, and appreciates them both. Then that offers a hand to help lead you out of heaviness into fresh hope.
